Privacy Policy

This policy covers the My Advisor website at gotomyadvisor.com. It explains what information the site collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It does not cover the Zywave client portal or any other site we link to; those sites have their own policies.

Information you give us

When you send a request through our consultation form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, and message, plus your company name and phone number if you choose to include them. The form delivers your request by email to our team at support@gotomyadvisor.com. The website itself does not store form submissions.

We use these details to answer your request and, if you become a client, to provide our services. Please do not send health information, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive personal details through the form. We will ask for anything like that through a secure channel if we need it.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how long visits last, how people found us, and general details such as device type, browser, and approximate location (city level). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to collect this. We use these reports to improve the site, and we do not use them to identify you personally.

Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. You can learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Our site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run this site and our email (such as Cloudflare, Google, and Microsoft), when the law requires it, or with your permission.

How long we keep it

We keep consultation requests and the information in them on file for five years. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention period set in our Analytics account.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have from you through this site, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@gotomyadvisor.com or calling (205) 395-3959.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
